Custom Paintings/Commissions
All custom paintings/portraits will be done in Acrylics from a photograph that is mailed or emailed to me. As many as possible at the highest resolution is ideal, .....however if you have a favorite one that you would love to have painted, or the animal has passed to the Rainbow Bridge and you have no others, I will try to work from what I am given. In all cases I will crop the photo for the best composition. If you wish a different interpretation of the background, that can be discussed, but there will be a charge for major deviations. If you wish several animals integrated into one portrait, that can be arranged.
I can also paint your favorite photo, it does not necessarily have to be of a pet; landscapes are fine. However, I cannot paint from a copyrighted photo unless you own the copyright or I have express WRITTEN permission directly from the owner of the copyright, usually the photographer himself.
Please be patient while the pics load. There are a lot of them and it is worth the wait! Please remember that the differences in color from the reference photo to the finished painting is due to different lightings when the photos were taken.
